IM especially for users on the go

Hello, miniaim users! Thanks for your interest in beta testing miniaim. The next version contains a lot of new features, and as such, is in serious need of testing to determine any problems.
Beta testing isn't easy... you cannot simply submit a report saying, "I tried to block a user, and miniaim crashed," as this is nearly worthless to me. I need more information to determine the cause of the crash: What was their username? Were they using an alias? What group were they in? Did you use the 'Block' button on the IM window, or the menu option? Was the user online at the time? Essentially, I need every bit of information you can provide to help determine the problem. If you have a strong knowledge of computers, or if you have beta tested software before, then this may be second nature to you.
Being a beta tester also means using software that may crash, or -- god forbid -- software that had exploitable flaws. Obviously, I wouldn't turn over a piece of software to you that had known errors in it, but it is very possible -- even likely -- that it has errors in it that I have not found.
Finally, being a beta tester for miniaim doesn't pay anything. Well, you get a free copy of miniaim, and your name goes in the ChangeLog... but that's it :^)
So, if you're still interested, leave a post below, and I will follow up to the e-mail address with which you registered. Thanks a million!

Count me in, I can test on Win2k and 3 versions of XP(media center, home, pro)
I've been in software for quiiiite awhile, the funny thing is I actually hope to find some bugs in this ^^
I'll be sure to check out all the new features if possible, that is, if you could conveniently send a changelog.
Good luck.

Mr. Honeycutt,
I would like to be a beta tester for Miniaim. I am well knowledged with computers, networking, programming, and web development. I think that I could be a great help with the testing. I would test miniaim thoroughly, all of its new features and its old features, and give you a very detailed and precise log of any bugs that are found. I will be able to test miniaim on all mainstream operating systems, including Windows versions 95 through XP Pro SP2 (Including the rare version 99) and Fedora Core 4, Ubuntu, and Debian (running WINE of course). I would be available for this beta testing for atleast 3-4 hours a day, due to other work needing done (customers, and my website, for example).
Regards,
-Shades (aka Colt)
